Dumb Questions Amnesty

Think like uber, but for food.

Can someone explain Uber eats and Deliveroo?

I drove down here to pick up my takeaway dinner and these dudes have been stopping in to pick up food orders.

How hard is it to organise footy tipping at work with all the online sites like espn which do the hard work for you you cannot balls it up!

A colleague was assigned the role of running footy tipping at the start of Feb so she had plenty of time to get this done. Yet we have a week till round 1 and still nothing. Am I missing something here?

Have you joined ours?

No… where can I see it

Yes.

That’s it’s two weeks till round 1.

I honestly thought it was next week… logic would dictate that anyway as there will be nothing on next week.

Would anyone have any idea how many games of AFL are played weekly in Melbourne/Victoria/Australia?

I don’t mean auskick (or any sort of park footy), but I do mean juniors.

I honestly don’t expect anyone to know, but I was wondering.

AFL? 9 games for a normal round.

Aussie rules? Who knows…

Cow pattie Pies.
Yummy!

I had an embarrassing one yesterday.

Was talking to someone about revolving restaurants. Looked them up and saw it only needs about 1 horsepower to move the thing. I couldn’t believe that the whole disc part of the building could be rotated so easily… then I realised it was just the little platform on the inside of the room after looking it up…

I think I got my erroneous understanding of it off The Simpsons…

Would take even less power if you just rotated a looped scenic backdrop.
