Who votes and the voting system basically guarantees the odds on favourite wins anyway. They donât vote until the end of the year, and everyoneâs been soaking in the âBurtonâs the best, McGrathâs nextâ coverage for the last couple of months. Then the WA and SA voters will have their "biased Vics overlooking <insert WA/SA player> " nominees, and thatâs the voting.
As sad as it is, there is no way the AFail will allow MCG to win the Rising Star. The âopticsâ will not permit it.

It will be nice to hear from him on this weeks Hard Tag. I like the relaxed format and both Belly and Hooksy are funny buggers. Where is Jack Post from? I like that he sounds a tragic Bombers supporter.

Reckon McGrath is a chance. Remember the year Hepps won it, Shuey had a great year but was in the system longer. There have been other instances where they favour the 1st year player.
In saying that the AFL want a good news story coming out of Hawthorn.
Hereâs a good news story out of hawthorn: they didnât make the finals. Who didnât smile about that?
