That effort early when he made like 4 efforts and then won the ball and pin pointed a pass was orgasmic. Got the whole crowd rocking. He’s a beauty.

Especially in the 3rd quarter when we were getting pantsed. He showed in jlt 2 that he can turn a game from the centre. He should be attending at least 2 a quarter.

Mhmm, and similar to last year how he laid a beautiful tackle then followed it up with an even better smother. His 2nd/3rd efforts are probably the best of anyone on our list

most impressive about that sequence was nailing the pass to a teammate. how often in the pass have we seen an essendon player do repeat efforts, finally win the contest then bottle it trying to kick it.

McGrath goes to have the shot. Rampe does a leg-sweep, dumping him on the ground. Ref calls for ‘dangerous play’…we cheer, then realise it’s going to Rampe. Rampe short pass to Rohan, who streams it down the wing, chipping to Franklin. Franklin drops his shorts, moons the crowd, picks the ball up, and casually launches it from 90m. It sails through on the siren. I die of a heart attack, with a swans beanie ripped in my mouth.
