He has been brilliant so far, everything we would have expected. Only 6 touches but he has had a lot more influence than that, lots of def touches, tackles and winning contests.

At a guess he doesnāt get up for the Melbourne game, but was impressive in the first quarter.

He has improved miles ahead of where he was.
Which tells you just how far behind he actually is.
Still learning to play as a forward.
IMO needs to learn how to do it in the VFL. Rather than gain his 9 possessions in the AFL each week.
Nope. Francis stays. He can get fitness in the AFL.

As expected his fitness reduced his influence but if he can get it up there he will be one of our best. He just has so much quality oozing out of him.

Too good to be playing VFL.
Despite his fitness, never really lost any 1 on 1ās directly because he was unfit.
Was tackling and harrassing till the very end. Brings enormous pressure to the ball carrier and his skills are sublime.
Play him till heās absolutely cooked, rest him, then play him again.

That was amazing, thatās what you donāt get from Langford, Langford would paddle it lackadaisically across the ground, Francis just starts throwing blokes aside, amazing.

Keep playing him, he will only get better when he adapts to the pace. Certainly wasnāt the worst out there and is prepared to put his body on the line.
