I was alluding to the complaints re Francis not being picked this week, - get over it - and implying that IF he was picked next week even more joy would result.

Captain Jack mistook this as “ venue relevance” so I tried to clarify to his post in second post.
Sorry if not quoting full responses / thread caused confusion.
Given the way this year’s going I personally expect Francis to play in five weeks time, get 30 possessions & kick 3 goals from half back, when I’ll be out of the country.

I’ll be going to the city end of Chirnside Park and expecting another freak goal from him.
Or, better yet, a Courtney Johns “10 marks and four goals” quarter.
(Yes, I still struggle with the concept of a full-forward actually taking 10 marks in a quarter. Especially since he justifiably had two men on him for much of it. At that stage he just started leading, and we delivered well.)
Must have been one of the very few good quarters Johns ever played.

The Johns quarter was the third, in this case. Singlehandedly dragged us out of a massive hole.
Bellchambers (?) kicked a goal in the closing seconds of the game to give us the win.
