Have you seen him live? He’s legit out on his feet 10x more than anyone halfway through the second. I watched him with maybe, 10 minutes to go in the second and he constantly had his hands on his hips, bent over sucking in air, barely jogging across half forward. He’s a huge talent, but he’s not fit enough. I reckon he has about 10 minute burst in him per quarter at the moment

He kicked 6 in the vfl against Richmond at punt road in an early game in his second season and was already a class above the vfl at that stage. So to say he showed nothing in his first 18 months is rewriting history. Didn’t do a lot in his first few senior games but you could see he was seriously good.

Yep, it’s funny how a bit of perspective helps.
Lloyd learnt to run smarter - Francis still bolts around like a puppy at times.
And in the early days Lucas seemed a better pack mark, while Lloyd mistimed his jumps and often ran under the ball.
Did have ■■■■■■ God hands when he got it though.
Ps Jay Neagle didn’t want to commit to life as a professional footballer - Francis passionately does.
And yes I’ve watched him live - if he wasn’t puffed you’d probably accuse him of not trying hard enough.

I think Lloyd was also very young when he was drafted. Maybe 16 at draft time, and early 17 when he debuted.

Yes he can still build endurance but give credit to what he’s able to do and build on.
