Didn’t we have Bradley on a Form 4 ?
Then Carlton did the sneaky on us.
Someone confirm with the full story…

Not like them to have a bigger brown paper bag than everyone else
Yes and yes.
It was about half-a-metre out, so hard (but not impossible) to stuff up.
One thing not mentioned in this debate, once Tippa started playing he was very durable, played a lot of consecutive games. Seemed to me Tippa was pretty dedicated to do what he did from such a disadvantaged starting point.
126 consecutive games to be exact
club AFL record
Helps that he was built like a brick too
I hope Blitz is adding a few more servers on the chance the Kako kicks 5 and we win next w/e. He will be up there with Taylor Swift on the adulation scale
Taylor who?
Who does he play for?
CHF North Melb
There was a Tom Swift who played for the eagles, was a gun 16 year old but after injuries in his junior career, never really took off at AFL level. (did get 3 brownlow votes in his first game though.
Swift is considered among the best midfielders on offer in Saturday’s NAB AFL Draft but has endured a frustrating two years.
In 2007, on the eve of leaving for South Africa with the AIS-AFL Academy squad, the talented West Australian ruptured an anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
He returned to the fold in 2008 but his knee troubles didn’t stop there. This time it was his right knee that buckled in WA’s final scratch match before the NAB AFL U18 championships.
Again Swift missed the season but there was some good news - the knee was not structurally damaged and there was no need for surgery.
“I guess I’m in a unique situation,” Swift said ahead of Saturday’s draft.
“I haven’t played too much footy over the last couple of years, so I’m sort of pretty excited to just to get into it and start playing again.
Stunningly one of few AFL listed players to retire and give away football to study medicine.
Then there was Fred Swift, Tigers captain and full back in the early 1960s.
Kako kicks 5 on debut and we beat poos and wee that would be amazing
As far as I understand he’s about as good as a kid his age can be.
Who knows if that keeps going but he would be on the radar of every afl scout

It’s a long time ago now , but I seem to recall us having Peter Motley lined up as well, along with Tony Antrobus. Antrobus was the only one we ended up with. Motley and Bradley ended up at Carlton along with Kernahan. Am I on the money there?
l can’t confirm any details about Motley, this is the first l have heard of him being approached to sign to Essendon.
Where’s his phone call video to his parents???
C’mon you Essendon media Muppets lift your game
I hope its as good as daveys call to Alwyn
Davey Jnr: hey dad, got some good news, im gunna be playing senior footy. gets teary eyed
