#10 - Isaac Kako - thru 2029

We have a player here. I am impressed man. ■■■■ yes

Clean

So did Kako have a scan or not?

I was curious - his stats hold up pretty well tbh. #6 rated general forward in the 18-20 range, #4 in 18 to 19 range. Down on avg goals but who wouldn’t be in our shambolic setup, finding other ways to get involved

tracking beautifully.

we’ve got to play to his strengths - get the ball on the ground near him and he’s so clean to collect and move it with pace

one thing the selection panel have got right is getting all these games into him first year

He’s definitely got some good attributes to work with.

Perhaps not as x-factorish around goal as we’d like at this stage but if he can get his tackling up to scratch he’s going to cause headaches.

Keeps his feet and one touch pick up in the wet. What is this magic?

He really does look like a very good footballer. He perhaps doesn’t have the legspeed i assumed he would, but he does a lot of things very well.

So clean in the ground. Elite picking up ball skills.

Kako’s last few weeks have been exactly what I wanted to see. Definitely a keeper.

Pairing him up with a speedster small forward would be the dream.

One speedster, one gritty contested defensive type and another pure crumbing type. Ideally with a good spread of height and size.

He just keeps his feet doesn’t he. I feel confident when the ball is around him he will get it, not slip and deliver it. I think we have a player here.

Kako the mid? Not behd.

Our most dynamic midfielder already.

Love watching this guy play. Only needs a couple of seconds to make a good decision and execute well.

So pleasantly surprised by how well he holds a mark, sometimes in the air, while copping heavy body contact. Has done it quite a few times this year and again in the first quarter tonight.

He just keeps getting better and better.

Love him.

Has better awareness & vision with his decision making than virtually all of our other mids, especially with his field kicking.

We’re so ■■■■ at drafting small forwards, that when we finally invest in one, he turns out to be a midfielder.
