im underwhelmed. but I think unless we came out points neutral or better I was always going to feel that way about this trade.
Anyway, back on topic. I’m not thrilled. Hopefully he comes good.
We love trading draft picks for mediocre players in their mid 20s
so we swap (up until now) AFL level spuds and lose draft points when we need to pull in perhaps two guys this year(academy and f/s) with draft points.

I think he’s actually just a decoy for 2MP and some protection for Jones. Means Jones won’t get the second best defender.
I also think they have enough points to get whomever we want or need.
