He was excellent tonight, really contested hard and got himself into the right positions to affect the spoil or mark and created a lot of our run. To me it looked like he realised that without Hurley the backline was his responsibility and he played like it.

I had a hunch he was gonna kick a few tonight but it wasn’t to be.

The kick to Guelfi was great but the hard sprint from the HB line and missed handball received about 4 times to finally end up with the ball showed immense work rate.
Line in the sand type of game for franga.

That blind turn was the turning point. Must have a gif. This is what Franga can bring - insane talent with solid defence and footy smarts. Goes from strength to strength from here.
