Just had a look at the replay of the incident which caused the injury.
Honestly, I don’t have a problem with the tackle.
I would hope our players tackle with intent like that if given the opportunity.

I seem to remember it came off feet, looped in the air, and then Zaka marks it.

Agree nothing malicious in the tackle, just intent which is why they’re a top team. It’s like when Jobe missed a month in 2013 after the Port bloke bumped him; makes you farking annoyed that it happened but the act was fair

Well they did…twice. Both our players pulled back on tackling too hard. Of course I agree there was nothing wrong with the tackle.
Yes, should have been paid a mark. And whilst there was no malicious intent with tackle, I’m not sure why it wasn’t paid in the back - zaka’s upper body was buried into the turf.
Well if its legal for Richmond to do it, its legal for us. Or haven’t we got the man power or the will?

Got crunched in that tackle, was in enormous pain about to come off and still went in to get the ball and get it going forward. Great effort.

Yep, he has totally changed my perception of him in the past 18 months.
He is not the outside player anymore.
Will be greatly missed.
