I’ll have to find the exact time when I watch the replay, but about 5 mins before the coat hanger on Sicily, he cleaned up another Hawk in a marking contest.
Cuts actually stopped, looked sheepish, tried to play if off as an accident until he realised it wasn’t a free kick, so then he took off and got the ball.
He’s been accidentally throwing his big frame around lately.

Nope Captain, I was not criticising the player. No AFL player does that deliberately any longer, you could seriously hurt someone.
I reckon it is much worse to say he intended to do it.

He totally intended to do it. It happened RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Jokes aside it was a well executed professional free that got us out of trouble. I’ve been watching Cuts closely since his breakout game in the VFL vs Collingwood a couple of years ago. This is consistent with the trajectory he has been on. He took a long time to become integral to the team but he now gets it; don’t be surprised if he goes to another level, his kicking is elite and opens up the ground for us and he believes in himself now. Go Cuts!
