IMO…more opposition players need to be grabbed by the throat, not less. Our boys need to be football players not choir boys. Your hate on Cutler is ridiculous BM. Just admit your judgement on him was from day dot, incorrect, and move on. He is easy best 22 and offers something that does not exist out of the half back line, an accurate long passes to the teams advantage that more often than not results is us retaining possession of the ball AND he is a very good run with player, athletic, tall, whats not to like…we have only just skimmed the surface with this bloke…can and will continue to improve just like 2MP IF the coaches back him in.

Not sure that grabbing someone around the throat is actually a tackle.
I love hard footy, but anyone who thinks a coat hanger is legitimate is wrong. And I cannot believe that Tom Cutler did it deliberately, as he looked seriously sorry after the event.
I do not hate Tom Cutler at all. I have been critical of his intensity and poor tackling but he played well on Saturday.
Grabbing someone by the throat is not legal and is dangerous.

Imo he was definitely trying to stop Sicily and looking to give away a free kick to allow our players to drop back. The execution wasn’t good, but the idea was right

It’s interesting that Cutler seems to have a bit of “white line fever” when he does decide to go hard.
I remember back in the early days with us, when Blitz was full of people claiming he didn’t tackle, he was actually done for two dangerous tackles in the space of a few weeks.
So possibly a touch of over compensation, or his technique needs work because he didn’t get enough practice at this sort of stuff developing.
Unlike some player’s who’ve honed their hits, elbows, and grinding opponents into the ground from an early age.

Go Fark yourself. I did my penance for that indiscretion and spoke to Aaron about it. He didn’t even remember and had a laugh, and smiled.
I have never criticised Cutler personally, just don’t rate his efforts highly. He played well on Saturday. I take offence on his behalf at the peanuts who suggested he deliberately necked Sicily. You could never suggest that Tom Cutler would deliberately try to do such an illegal and dangerous action, and he looked remorseful after it happened. So stop being a muppet.
