#13 Nik Cox - thru 2026 (Part 1)

Interested to know if they take last year’s body of work into account if he does

Nah. People put heaps on him at the start of the season

Hmmm. I don’t know.

What, 3 games?

Was a pretty damn impressive 3 games

9 Brown low votes?

They were a long time ago.

Cox spoke very well for a kid 6 months out of school. Wait til he learns all the AFLSpeak cliches.

He will hardly be able to answer a questiòn in 2-3 years time without sprinkĺing them in.

“Yeah, nah, it’s good to see the crowd so up and about. We’re not getting carried away though. We’re just taking things one week at a time.”

“Full credit to the boys though. We played a four quarter game, and really played our brand of footy and stuck with our structures.”

“We knew they’d come out hard, and credit to them for that. But, we were able to apply scoreboard pressure, and get the four points.”

“Cheers mate.”

Great interview from young Coxy.

I personally like it when they “bring their best footy”. Don’t bring the ■■■■ one, mate.

Cox “I’m more focused on us winning games and that’s what I want”

Interesting to hear him say he eventually sees himself settling as a KPP.

This guy just seems to have all the ingredients required to get to the absolute top level.

Also refreshing to hear a first year player interview so well (without the cliches etc).

Not a gambler but I watched him in that game and thought special in the warm up!

I see him taking the old Richo and Goodes role and making it his own.

just more of what he is doing now.

only downer of that was having to listen to Dwayne Russel.

Fark Carlton supporter rang up after the Cox interview and was dirty as that they gave up pick 8 for Saad and we used that pick to get Cox. He couldn’t believe they missed out on getting Cox and reckons he will be the next Kouta but obviously in a bombers jumper. Even the opposition supporters know how good he will be.
