He took some decent contested marks today. He made a couple of fumbles early but didn’t let that worry him either
His kicking was generally good too.
He will be a weapon. could definitely pinch hit in key position if required once he has bulked up a bit.

Another great game. Some of those marks he took on the wing were huge for us and that tackle on Sidebottom * chef kiss *.
We seriously need to stop playing him in the ruck, though.

Since he has elite endurance for a midfielder, good pace, great agility, superb off both feet, clean at ground level and plays in every way like a wingman. Wing is a good position.
Plus, with the added bonus of 20cm on his opponent and being great overhead, in a wingman we have a player who will be able to offer us a great outlet around the ground, be able to drift back in the hole and take intercept marks and occasionally push forward and take i50 marks. He could be a good key position player, or he could be a once in a generation wingman.

IMO Pendlebury seems to have all the time in the world in traffic; Cox reminds me of that.

I thought Perkins would be my favourite of the three we took. But this kid right now is taking the cake! I loved McGrath’s first year but Cox could be a star. I think Perkins is looking the goods too…he’s just a slower burn I reckon

Coxy is great. I just think Perkins is growing into league footy. He prob won’t ever play another game in the twos.

Totally agree with this. They play right till the final siren. Their fitness is okay.
a bit more muscle and a bit more experience and you can see him just dominating.
