Now Henry, he looks hardy now. Like he’s been able to do the work. Still a bit thin but has more solidity about him as you would hope. Is that okay with you, my opinion on that matey?

For those after a delist, does your thinking change if we get 4-6 extra rookie spots as part of an assistance package?

No.
Nik has a great highlights package - from 5 years ago.
If we are to progress as a club and not occupy the bottom of the ladder, we need to move on from thinking players like Cox are going to magically improve 10-fold
I think we are better off using those extra spots on state-league players who have earned their spots the hard way and have at least two of the following skills:
Two-way runners, good foot skills, crash and bash style, speed, high meters gained stats.

He’s also one decent head knock away from having to give the game away completely. Stresses me out he’s even still playing

It’s a good question but I’m leaning towards no. I think the club has seen enough and done enough to know that there isn’t much more ceiling left so I’d still be inclined to let him get to another club and see if they can get more out of him. I’ve actually been really impressed by Nik this season and tip my hat off to him. It could not be much harder than staring down the potential end to your footy career and coming out on top. Ben McKay should take inspiration from young Nik on how to do it!
