I’m really buoyed by the long term potential of he and Redman. Its disappointing when both/either get inj or dropped but I’m convinced we have a couple of rippers.

The only think I really remember about Judd Lalich is that his first two kicks went OOTF.

Must have seemed like nothing much as played out game without issue.

Ridley in particular plays more of a sweeping /clean up role as he tends to be more of an outside player but also with brilliant disposal. Redman is more aggressive and physical which complements Ridley really well since they are often in the same area of the ground. Most of all they have been playing together in the VFL backline for a season, so have a very good understanding when playing together. I really like this combination.

He wasn’t mentioned as injured by Crow in the report on the club website.
Hopefully he is available. He is settling in so well to the backline that is looking excellent with the inclusion of Hooker.
This kid is incredible for the amount of games he has played so composed unde pressure some of his kicking was really good too

I’ve just noticed this, and you have obviously been musing on it already.
I remember last year Ridley was almost identical in height and weight to Gleeson and now he has 5kg on him (1cm taller, but that may be the same).
I reckon Gleeks is a bit bigger than Riles.
I know you can’t believe everything you read on the Essendon website, but Ridley does seem to be showing an increased ability to gain weight compared to Gleeks.
