I don’t mind they didn’t charge straight down the line. Merrett is a better kick than just hoofing it down the line to a contest in that situation.
But they just stood there. They needed to make options in the corridor (or at least somewhere which would allow play to open up a bit before entering 50).
Don’t worry, the senior players will get that out of them in no time.
Nah to be completely unbiased we see that from them every game.
It comes down to hunger and drive. Thats not to say those guys are not driven but I think Sharp is a very rare type in that regard, and I also think you need many of those players to win a premiership. And we dont have that.

Well, to be fair, 99% of Blitz will see him play for the first time at AFL level, so if they have concerns, this is when it will come out.

I recon he will be a very similar sort of player to Mundy.

People will probably hate this comparison.
But, I see him being like Ben Cunnington. He will be the engine and our midfield will rely heavily on him.
Cunnington at his peak is one of the most underrated contested mids of all time.
Needs to bring that bob mullet back I reckon, but with his age he may be thinning on top already
He has some similar qualities, but his size and excellent overhead mark make him more versatile than other inside mids.
