Must be the only Essendon player to lead towards the ball.
Played well today, just hope he stays fit.

Was our best forward today. Could easily have had 4 goals. Presented well and also added good forward pressure when not in possession. After his shocking run of injuries, it is great to see him out there and playing good footy. Keep it up, Lav.

Needs to fix his kicking asap.

His defensive efforts are very impressive for an almost tall

Wonder how good he could be with some decent development behind him.

Or a run at it unimpeded by injury.

Equal team high 7 score involvements. 6 tackles. And was our best lead up forward, which was super important for our structure considering McKernan was bathed by casboult.

If he would start nailing those easy set shots then he’d be surpassing Brown, alas not yet.

Add another sample point to the theory.

The boy can stick a tackle. The team needs more of that. Will be a player if his body permits.

This. He is showing a few more signs every week. He is getting goal scoring chances more often too. He really attacks the ball, is also a pretty good mark

Just needs consist game time to continue to get up to speed of top level footy.

Needs to spend some hours on his goal kicking though from set shots
