Not declaring that he ultimately makes it as a mid but Iβd be having him do this whole pre-season as a midfielder. If he can do the full volume of work without injury setbacks all the way up until round 1 for a changeβ¦ who knows.

The perfect project player for Cara. Simplify the game/expectations , play to your strengths.
Iβm happy he gets one final year with us. Thereβs definitely raw ability. If we can build his tank a little more, I think he can play. I thought his hitup role in the Elim showed a bit.

As a mid sized player whose essentially a fwd only based on tank at AFL level just doesnβt have enough to do so IMO.
And then there is poor conversion

Thatβs his real issue.
Jake Stringer is a very good player. Youβd have to be pretty special to get that spot from him.
The guy has the body of an adonis, but sits just outside best 22
Needs to put in a massive pre-season learn to kick for goal and stay healthy.
He is one of the players we need to improve a lot, especially as he comes into his prime years.

Agree, him and cutler appear to be players Caracella can do some good work with. Especially considering you can see (and what has been reported) what he has done with Lambert, Castanga.
Thatβs why he needs to give absolutely everything this pre-season to show that he can be a midfielder, not just an undersized key forward.
At the very least it increases his tank and makes him more versatile.
