#15 Josh Green - delisted

Worked as hard as I’ve seen him do so, ■■■■ return in front of goal but is elusive and creative.

Are my eyes deceiving me or was he in for a few centre bounces?

I mentioned how hard he works, a few weeks ago.
It turned into a joke.

I think it’s all good and well, when he’s jagging goals from the boundary line (like earlier in the season). But he should not be missing simple goals 25 metres out with not much angle.

He needs to sort this out ■■■■■■ quick. Specialist goal sneaks should be kicking goals at every opportunity, because he might not get many chances

He was an accurate kick before he came to Essendon. What did we do to him?

Essington-ed him.

It’s what we do. Same thing we’ve done to Stewart. Every player with supposedly elite disposal loses it the minute he steps through our door.

Hardly surprising when the likes of Hooker, who sprays it like a tomcat on the prowl, are the forward line role models.

Anyone who still doesnt see what he provides even when he isnt kicking too many goals is watching different games to me

He was

I love him, if hooker didn’t spay them everywhere yesterday his contribution to the forward line would have been far more obvious. He is a vital part of our forward line IMO, his tenacity and defensive efforts are inspiring

He is also one of the few we have, with a bit of the mongrel about him. Go Greeny.

I remember Prismall at Geelong was an elite user of the footy.

He gets a trade to us, and the first couple of games he’s spearing the ball lace-out to Jay Neagle.

Then after a few games he couldn’t hit the side of barn. Absolute typical.

It’s what we do.

Same with Goddard. His decision-making and disposal was laserlike at St Kilda. Never saw him miss a target with them.
Same thing for Camporeale and Murphy. I try to pretend to pretend their time with us never happened, but they were both good users at FCFC.

Hmmm.
I wonder what possible alternative there is to this.

he added quite a bit today - defensive pressure, linking up etc… i took due to his absence and all the debate re: his role.

I can imagine ppl here fuming if we’d lost - about the selfish kick for goal, and the misses…

Have to say he made an instant impact too

He really plays as an almost senior fwd/mid/defensive forward/goal sneak, we do not have a player barr tippa who can do this, Green’s a little more experienced too. We are much much better in our forward half (including the wings) with Green playing

Hahahaha

Joe and Green swapped bodies after finding a mystical medallion during their pre-season trip to India. Only way to reverse this is to go back to that same location and have a witch doctor…Doesn’t matter, I melted the medallion and turned it into a Coleman medal.

Is Brandon Matera an upgrade on Green as a small forward?

I think so, I love what Green brings with his massive effort, but he has a very limited tank. THAT sot of player is a must in our forward line, I would matera might be a flashier younger player, does or is he capable of bringing the effort?
