#16 Josh “Fridge” Begley

I've been told that his biggest obstacle will be whether he can handle the structured and sometimes claustrophobic world of being a modern AFL player. If he is up to the task he could be anything.
Sounds like he would have been better suited in a bygone era like the 70's and 80's as Van Der Haars partner in crime.

Live picture of the Begley hype train:

Yep he’s got it. 4 smart goals plus a beautiful long kick and assist to Tippa. I would still have Laverde ahead of him though as that medium marking forward based on today.

Yep. Player

Wow.

Excellent game from the kid. Big thighs and big future

I’d love to see him play round one, looks more than good enough to be a regular.

What a pity we have so few forward options this year.

I’m so ■■■■■■■ in.

Impressed by his game today. Most everything he did was composed, which is a great sign for a first gamer, even if it was a pre-season game. I think a second performance like that in the final game should see him on the paddock come round one, along with another first gamer in McGrath.

Any seats left on this bandwagon?

Solid first up game. Has what it takes to play a lot of senior footy in 2017!

If he kicks 2 or more next week he plays Rd 1

OH MY

Going to tear games apart in the coming years

Begley really helps the “Walla back” argument.

He looks like Dane Swan in a young Mark Ricciuto’s body

Stuart Dew anyone?

Paul Barnard anyone?

No he doesn’t. Completely different players and roles
