Hopefully he has a good debut and we can get him a early win in his career.

I think he can play. Seen him in the VFL and was impressed with his reading of the game. Good luck Lewis!

I was thinking the same about Frsncis being the best match up for Hayes. Go well young man you have earned it.

Didn’t know Hayes was the one from the draft trials who’s legs gave out during the 2km

Come a long way since then the boy……he will go well!!

Congratulations Lewis! Go well and Godspeed. Shake down that thunder from the sky! :muscle::black_circle::red_circle:

Can someone tell me what I’m going to be outraged about now?

Shiel being selected.
Shiel being prioritised ahead of Tsatas.
McKay not being dropped.
Prior not being dropped.
SEH not being selected.
Johnson languishing at VFL level.
Menzie being select.
Davey Jnr not getting games.
Hobbs being named sub.

There’s never a shortage. You just need to actually try.

No discernible game plan.
Our terrible percentage.
The terrible up coming results as we hit a difficult part of the draw.
Geelong getting every player they want.

Just wait til Francis kicks 6 on him.

kind of funny how Jordan Ridleys dad scouted Hayes.

And now he’s debuting in replacement of Jordan Ridley.

Knowing Sir Francis that will be 0.6 - 6.

Francis will be gassed by half way through the 2nd quarter.

This is going to be a very interesting debut. I presume he’s most likely going to get a run at this, at least a few weeks before there’s a chance of any other structure being considered.

Some guys can look just ok in the VFL but given the bigger stage can be more impressive. Would love to see him grab the chance and claim a scalp or two in his stint. I wouldn’t hold it against him if he gets towelled up now and then too, part of the learning process.

Then we can move him to the wing just to see how he goes.

I just saw that. It’s difficult to believe how you can have a reaction like that to a 2k, especially if you’re playing high level footy.

The previous Fletcher got elevated much quicker.

I doubt Brad Scott will understand the need for Lewis to start the game in the ruck (versus Fark Carlton!), and then never again play there.
