If he comes on he looks a much better option as a key forward/back up ruck than either Bryan or Draper.
Yeah I like the early signs from him. Looks like even outside of Kako that this draft could be a really good one for us. ■■■■ we need it!
He moves well, has a lovely kicking action and can take a mark. A great prospect.
I think Players Full Name could be a good pickup.
We’ve waited long enough damn it
Totally agree.
Be great to see Draper solo rucking with G train (once he gets up to speed).
Not a fan of playing Draper & Bryant together…
He’s noticeably lost about 5kg’s since being drafted. So yeah - last in his first ever time trial but he put the work in after that.
He was better with Shaq
refreshing to see a young player be strong in the contest, hold a contested mark and have good foot skills.
He’s pretty important to our list build, this guy. If he works out, even just to be a 25-30 goal 2nd forward who can take the 2nd ruck spot, he’ll be very useful. And a great accompaniment to Caddy.
Go for it player full name
Coming along nicely, wish the selection committee would be brave and play him and Hayes this week.
He’s nowhere near ready
… so Wright?
Basically, Wright if he was a better contested player.
And about 9 years younger.
Imagine he would have more trouble than Stringer manning up in AFL game.
Might mean he gets on the end of a few cheapy goals though.
No way Brad selects Gerryn after 1, 3 goal game, when he ignored Baldwin and Voss for years when they were producing 4-5 goal games on occasion.
Can’t believe that we’ve let this guy languish in the VFL for so long!
On a serious note, this guy feels like the sort of guy who would be best served with a 2 year apprenticeship in a VFL, a couple of big pre seasons with fitness focus, and direct craft coaching/mentorship in a good system. There’s a lot of tools there.
In other words, he’s boned.
odds are he’ll get the 2 year vfl apprenticeship though
This guy is pretty exciting. He looks so confident ball in hand and he’s an enormous unit.
Almost Brody Grundy-esque when he used to get involved around the ground.
