He’s noticeably lost about 5kg’s since being drafted. So yeah - last in his first ever time trial but he put the work in after that.

He’s pretty important to our list build, this guy. If he works out, even just to be a 25-30 goal 2nd forward who can take the 2nd ruck spot, he’ll be very useful. And a great accompaniment to Caddy.

Imagine he would have more trouble than Stringer manning up in AFL game.
Might mean he gets on the end of a few cheapy goals though.
No way Brad selects Gerryn after 1, 3 goal game, when he ignored Baldwin and Voss for years when they were producing 4-5 goal games on occasion.

On a serious note, this guy feels like the sort of guy who would be best served with a 2 year apprenticeship in a VFL, a couple of big pre seasons with fitness focus, and direct craft coaching/mentorship in a good system. There’s a lot of tools there.
In other words, he’s boned.

This guy is pretty exciting. He looks so confident ball in hand and he’s an enormous unit.
