#2 Big Sammy Draper (from May 2024)

That is one view DP.

You might also say he is heart and soul bomber, a glue that binds players and fans alike together, brings spirit to the game and lifts moral… adn he has been playing v good football.

And where or how do we replace ruck stock like Draper?

I would re-sign him if that was his wish.

Possibly……it depends on how long he has had the calf injury for. If he has had pain/tightness for an extended period of time, that could have caused him to overcompensate unknowingly putting pressure on his achilles.

If it wasn’t anything he was carrying into the game, then that is unlikely to have been a factor in it.

I would also look at the field. Players and others have complained about how hard it is which can also be a factor in this type of injury.

That’s what I was thinking. Sore calf on left and over compensated on the right leg to alleviate pressure on his left calf. Right achillies snaps

Even if it’s a partial tear don’t they cut the Achilles to promote a clean healing /growth back ?

No idea!

Should never tell a stalker where you live. Don’t you watch CSI shows?

how do you kill something thats already dead

Hypothetically speaking if somehow we scrapped into finals. is there any chance Draper would be back? or is it essentially year over and time to plan for 2026 return like Bryan.

Huge loss, season ending you would think

Are we sure Brad Scott wasn’t kicking Sam’s achilles at three quarter time? Can you see the lower half of their bodies in the footage?

For him and the club.

Maybe the club should send Draper to the Qatar place that Reid and Ridley went to?

Yep. If you are concerned about how people view you on an internet forum- I think there is something missing in your life

If it’s a complete rupture I’d almost put Draper on a longer timeline than Bryan.

He will loose some of that pace over this.

there’s no need for him to retire to get a pick in the mid season draft, we could have 3.

Not actually what IT was saying , but equally unknowable unfortunately.
