Say what you want about him, he brings the edge. Something which should be mandatory when scouting ruckmen imo.

Good game yes but what could of made it a great game was if he handballed after taking a mark, rather than aimlessly bombing it long (Barass says thanks)

As in looks like clumsy, overgrown kid with a moustache? Yes but I like to think Sammy has more loyalty.
He actually has a decent record first game back from injury.
Itâs the following weeks that has been the issue.
Hopefully he can keep it going, as we really need him over the next month.

I would play 2 genuine rucks against Melbourne, as Draper has a poor record against Gawn and we need to tire Max out.
No reason to play an extra Ruck against Geelong or Collingwood.
2mp can go with those teamâs 2nd string Ruckmen.

Absolutely. Pittonet and De Koning have both proved to nullify Gawnâs influence in the past 3-4 matchups between the two sides. Funnily enough, Gawn has only played Essendon 8 times in his career, the least of any side.
He has certainly improved his kicking though, gets some good distance.

I thought he was good, got the adrenaline rush a few times and rolled dice but as game went hid, fed a few out to those better placed/skilled. Will be a good match up for Dekoning. No injury, tick

the club should fine him everytime he kicks the ball. he should only be allowed to handball (particularly when lining up for goal!).
He had a good return game, but it pissess you off when he holds the ball too long and kicks to nothing.
