I love this kid,he looks like he has 100 years when he has the ball.
He forced me to shut up and sit down in my own lounge room!! Outrageous behaviour from an 18 year old! I was yelling at him to kick to a free player on the wing but he held onto it, held onto it, assessing the options up the ground and then just laced someone in the corridor which then started a great forward transition from us. I was defeated…sat down and refused to yell at him anymore. His footy IQ is a thing of beauty. Plus he complements Archie Roberts on the other half back flank.
He’s played three games and already it’s like oh good, the ball is in Farrow’s hands
Doesn’t make mistakes and so poised - has the talent to be AA in a short while.
Big upgrade from Redman for mine.
I wanted us to draft him but funnily I thought he was the most concern out of the three to translate at the next level.
After a few games it looks like he is the most likely to succeed.
Can’t believe how assured he is already.
Now we just need Sharp and Robey (who despite limited touches also looked very comfortable today) to come good.
2 games in and already the best kick in our side by a mile.
Makes you wonder WTF Jackets has been up to last decade or two ….. ![]()

Jet
Which is rare in our backline, coz McKay Roberts and Reid whilst they all have their strengths, I’m always a bit nervous ball in hand deep in defensive 50.
His Real estate portfolio.
Hawthorn wanted him big time.
What about Kondo Kondo Kondo?
How do you know ?
Unlike Robey, Farrow got a full pre season, and as a result has hit the ground running. Even so I am amazed how composed he is after less than 5 games.
Lets hope we can keep this defence together for a decent stint, because out of the 6 we have 4 very good kicks in there, Prior passable with Kondo as backup.
These guys made our game plan look like a well oiled machine for the first time in 5 years.
Who knew that drafting kids who can kick to teammates and then playing them in positions where they can get the ball and kick it to teammates was a good thing?
We know exactly what he was doing, he told us constantly.
Drafting great physical attributes, and guys from great families.
A huge gold nugget from the goldfields out West.
Because of how we’re playing - particularly yesterday - his early footy is largely a stationary style. Receive the switch kick, take the mark , evaluate next option and move it on by foot. Where he’ll become really destructive is if/when he’s already on the move, taking ground on the run and then using his kicking skills. We haven’t scratched the surface yet.
Plays every game for mine.
