2006 - the year of hope

Ricciuto had some game, 31 and 3 goals.

Then we go there rd 1 2007 and roll them by 6 goals.

The absolute state of the team that night

Probably Campo’s best game for us.

TRENT HENTDCHEL

That win against Brisbane after about 17 losses in a row was very satisfying.

Outside of the crows game and the port game at Marvel, we didnt really get completely belted. Just kept losing by 4 or 5 goals.

Was at my best friends 18th Birthday Party that night.

I literally vomited in celebration of that win.

At least that’s how I choose to remember it

2006 the year of the Comm Games in Melbourne.

Work life for me was hectic carnage in the lead up, during and immediate aftermath of the Games.

But, home life was fantastic as I was house sitting an old pub in Port Melbourne. Great place to live.

Who the ■■■■ is Ben jolley, no recollection of him at all

Lloyd was so f*cking good, we probably would have played finals…. And won a final, if he didn’t get injured.

A lot of people forget what a superstar he was.

I hated those “Games Lanes” in the city restricting my drive home.

Played a million VFL games for Williamstown. Then a handful for Essendon VFL.

I joined this forum in 2004, which must be the reason we’ve been useless for the last 20+ years. It’s the only thing that makes sense.

The dream time game was devastating.

We lost by 2 points when we were leading late in the quarter.

Monfries marks tge ball in the pocket, and instead of icing the game…. And waiting for team mates to set up, he immediately plays on. Misses the shot, and Richmond sling shot down the other end for a goal.

When the final siren blew, I was fuming.

Ahh that was 05

Oh yes, of course.

All these years don’t blur into one another at all!

Which one was when Jobe was running towards goal late in the game, and Scott Lucas was standing by himself in tge goal square…… and Jobe fluffed the kick, and it went for a behind.

Was that also the Monfries game?

St Kilda in the rain at the G?

Led all day and got stooged by Milne late.
