2015 Fixture

I would like us to play Port twice and North Melbourne twice.

We play Sydney in Sydney Rd 1.
Hawthorn @ Etihad Rd 2
Carlton @ MCG Rd 3
Collingwood @ MCG (ANZAC Day) Rd 4.

Yeah yeah same ■■■■■. Hawks at Etihad, Dee's at MCG.
That is our actual draw.
No joke.
Rest is TBA.
I thought Anzac Day was round 3 next season due to the late start??? Must of read it wrong.

You might be right, fog. Lock in the first 2 rounds though and Coll & Carl Rd's 3 & 4.

Where does it say that is our first 4 rounds?

Normally syd play gws round 1.

Normally syd play gws round 1.

Yeah but that didn't work out well for Sydney this year so they've changed it.

Hope we get hawks syd and port away in the first 3 rounds.

I'm hoping the teams we play twice are the Western Bulldogs, Collingwood, Carlton, GWS, and St. Kilda.

We gotta play Tigers twice every year don't we?
No, not anymore. Although most years it manages to happen.

Huh .. Really??  I was sure we played the other big 3 twice every year.

Can't think of when we didn't. Someone will tell me I'm sure.

2010 we didnt play Richmond twice

Right. Must be like the once we didn't in a long time tho ?

Curious that it's been twice since Suns & GWS have been in.

As long as Collingwood dont get a soft draw and travel more than 5 times, I'm happy.

The Collingwood soft draw and not traveling thing is a myth. They travel more than most Vic clubs because every team requests a home game against them every year.

It was true for quite a while, then everyone complained, two new interstate teams were introduced, and it changed.

Seems to be about 3 out of every 4. The years we don't, we generally get Hawthorn double up.

Early on is the right time to get Hawks, Swans I reckon.

I want the Hawks twice, the Swans twice and the Cat's.

To beat the best you need to play against them and learn.

I reckon an interstate game round 1 might be alright. We won’t be able to play collingwood, Carlton, Richmond, hawthorn or Geelong.

If we get a pauper club at etihad on Easter Sunday we’ll draw a ■■■■ crowd, the players won’t turn up and we’ll get rolled as per usual.

Get an interstate game out of the way early, but not Perth.

I was speaking to someone in the know and apparently its been talked about that our first game will be a night game here v fremantle

If that's true you'd think we might play them twice then as we haven't played them at home since 2010.

People trying to apply logic, or appealing to balance over multiple years, need to be reminded that we have played Sydney in Sydney in 15 of the last 16 years.
The sole exception being 2012, when we were called upon to prop up GWS instead.

And that Margetts prick always umpires the match usually..
We've also played Adelaide in Adelaide a lot more than we've played them here in recent years.
Definitely not surprised with AFL 'logic'.

If that's correct then please make it a Saturday twilight (Melb time) or Sat night so I can get over for it. Knowing my luck Sunday twilight.

EDIT - If it's Easter weekend! Hello long weekend in WA!
