2015 Fixture

People trying to apply logic, or appealing to balance over multiple years, need to be reminded that we have played Sydney in Sydney in 15 of the last 16 years.
The sole exception being 2012, when we were called upon to prop up GWS instead.

And that Margetts prick always umpires the match usually..
We've also played Adelaide in Adelaide a lot more than we've played them here in recent years.
Definitely not surprised with AFL 'logic'.

We've played them away 8 of the last 10 years.

"GADELAIDE!!"

I alway enjoy it when Adelaide supporters blend the 'go' and 'Adelaide' together when supporting.

Its hilarious.

It doesn't happen much anymore as they rarely play the Bombers at Etihad.

We beat Ade in Ade a lot. I'm happy to play them there.

I want us to play Carlton 21 times next year.

Bwahahha yeah Pannell not Margetts LOL.
Got confused.

So here's what I've heard to date:

Round 1 - Easter Weekend, first game on the Thursday night before Good Friday.  No split first round

GF first week in October.  Season is compressed, less "split rounds"

Sunday Night games won't happen, but more Thursday night games

Melbourne at Jihad plz

I think the last time we played them there was 2009. Which was also the last time Jack Watts did something up forward.

wow...another 5 and a half months before we see a game of footy proper. Thats a fair wait.

First thing I'll do is see when we play Port and hope to god it's here.

Let's not be teased by early season success in 2015.

So Round 1 should be the Demons at the G.

That way we don't have to wait long for another season's disappointment to arrive.

Round 1 has been leaked apparently:

$ydney vs Essendon at ANZ on Saturday, April 4th.

Bring it

and we play Hawthorn at the MCG in Round 2 (home game guessing as Hawks will be home vs Cats in Rd 1 and we're away in Sydney). LOVE the idea of a HOME game at the G Vs Hawks.

Two easy games to follow, though.  ;)

It’s gonna be GWS round 1 all over again

From AFL app:

Thursday

Carlton v Richmond

Saturday

Melbourne v Gold Coast

Sydney Swans v Essendon

Brisbane Lions v Collingwood

Western Bulldogs v West Coast

Sunday

St Kilda v Greater Western Sydney

Adelaide v North Melbourne

Fremantle v Port Adelaide

Monday

Hawthorn v Geelong

First thing I'll do is see when we play Port and hope to god it's here.

not a feckin chance. We'll have to go over there to face the courageous one. ■■■■■■■ ferals.
