They should just have the AFLW on now, let that grow.
Stop the mickey mouse games, AFL is fantastic the way it is. It is fast paced and exhilarating already, no need for some weird short game.
Or if they are going to do it (because it is the AFL they will persist with it) have dedicated players and new teams.
So which, if any players enhanced their claims to break into the best 22 during last nights games?
None, except that Smack demonstrated he can still take a mark and could be quite useful depth as a tall forward who can pinch hit in the ruck
