2019 Draft Watch - it’s over, apart from all the remaining bits

What’s our next pick

You mean the guy who has never played AFL and is coming back from and ACL injury?

And pies select another midfielder in Rantall

i think Jones and Bryan will be good but F me need a inside mid and Rantall was on the board with heaos of upside.

pies have got there pendelbury replacement.

Draper was a rookie

I find it mind boggling we didn’t pick one midfielder with our first two picks. A guy who is behind Phillips, belly, draper at 38 is a stretch. if we believe we are “in the window” which our trading suggests we are, picking a skinny project ruck at 38 makes not a great deal of sense to me

Pick 40 isn’t replacing Pendles.

Rucks are pretty ordinary in the rookie draft? I reckon more A grade rucks have come from the rookie draft than A grade midfielders.

We have 4 ruckman on the main list.

The Crows dude looks like a fair dinkum pizza eating cigarette smoking dude :joy::joy:

Him and Hravey are the only two left once Woosh is gone

If we a serous we would have given Dodoro his marching orders years ago

Arguable.

But there’s no way to know.

I think these a two good picks. If we got mids instead we’d be pinning our forward and ruck hopes on Daniher (uncertain), Bellchambers (cooked), Draper (never played), Phillips (journeyman) McKernan (getting old) and Stewart (probably not very good).

I’m assuming (I’m not watching) that’s Hamish Ogilvie and he is a gun.

We got any more picks?

So basically right now we haven’t done a thing to help us on field next season.

One is cooked and be lucky to play past 2020

And this one is very raw but will hopefully be ready by time 28yr old Phillips is done also
