Rachelle or quit dudoro
I’ve seen a fair bit of nwm this year and he doesn’t shy away from the hard ball stuff he puts his body on the line when he has to.
It’s an extra spot if done with a rookie player.
Well, since I want Sonsie, I’d have no problem with that!
He just said he’d take Sonsie!
Go for Sonsie. Class disposal AND ball winning!
I agree.
A Clean one touch, tight decision making and accurate disposal will make it in any AFL team.
I think Caleb Daniel is a great example.
I think that was Sonsie vs Sinn vs NWM… pretty sure Goater is the chosen one for @THE_DON1 for this draft. Bit of a murmur around (on BF) that Adelaide really likes Goater but if he gets past them he could get to us.
Details, details, details. Stop derailing my train!
Sonsie was my first choice.
Great draft as you’d think one of Sonsie, Goater, Erasmus, Rachelle or NWM will be available.
Happy will all.
This is set up for the classic @THE_DON1 vs Calculating Cal Twomey showdown.
Goater vs Erasmus.
Only time will tell.
One of Sonsie, Goater or Erasmus would be great.
I’d prefer the physical attributes of Goater or Erasmus over Sonsie, but Sonsie’s class is hard to argue against.
IMO there’s every chance none of those 3 will be available by our pick.
Just to narrow it down we want any of
Erasmus
Sonsie
Rachelle
Nwm
Goater
Draper
The thing is though I have Erasmus ahead by a bees ■■■■ but yeah I’d be very happy with either
My mistake. I thought you were a Goater just ahead man.
Exciting draft though. Lots of options.
Sonsie or Rachelle no more utilities with dodgy kicking

This is just my opinion.
If you are a real estate tycoon, you wouldn’t buy every house in the same street. Even if that street was in Toorak.
We have some of the leagues best smaller midfielders.
I am just saying we should diversify and add more muscle/height to the midfield to complement our quality mids.
His brother looks even better at comparative ages too
Picking Goater feels like a real x-factor, possibly high reward type of pick.
At worst, he could be your typical half back flanker, who provides abit of run off the backline, or 3rd tall up forward…… but could end up being the next Fyfe/Bontempelli.
I personally base my draft preferences off a detailed statistical analysis of the quantity and quality of puns that the player’s name could produce.

If we pick another 180cm mid, I will burn the place down.
I will add Kerosene to that fire.
If it was Horne Francis(183cm) or Daicos(183cm) I wouldn’t complain.
Can’t get enough quality footballers on your list no matter how tall they are.
Just give me the guy with the best foot skills available.

Using your analogy though, the price between the Toorak and Footscray house are the same (the draft pick), but you’re arguing to go the Footscray house just to diversify.
It also ignores we have Langford, Cox, Perkins (and Stringer cameos) who are all tall.
