I think that’s kinda the thing. I’d wager the majority of footy watchers don’t even know who Mike Brady is. Nowhere near as popular or well known anymore as the AFL would like us all to think.

I think they’re hoping he drops off before anyone has to give him the tap on the shoulder.
They only stopped having Lou Richards on the Sunday Footy Show last year, and he died in about 2015
