Inherited a wooden spoon list having taken the boys to the promised land just a few years later.
Commiserations to @Speedy_Gonzales, a very worthy year indeed! You were an aggressive challenger and gave me a good challenge in the big one. You’ll be back. It wasn’t my best performance this weekend but it was enough to get the job done.

I haven’t played AFL Fantasy since we started our comp 11 years ago i think.
Is it similar to UF?
Same scoring. Mostly similar positions. It’s all about trading though given the price changes.

What is a Category league?
I wonder if that is like Fantasy NBA/NHL where instead of total fantasy points, your head-to-head match-up is based on each statistical category (kicks, marks, handballs, goals, hit outs, etc)? That would add a different element to it!

Yeah I played an NBA Fantasy league like that about 10+ years ago. The team I had was Dwight Howard at his DPOTY best, Blake Griffin and Kris Humphris (before he dated a Kardashian/Jenner), so I don’t think I lost a rebounding match-up all year. FT% was cooked though!
