2022 trade speculation (Part 3)

Nah he’s getting 2.2 mill over 4 years.

All the best.

For a bloke that played 5 senior games this year, and the rest in the 2’s, that’s still a decent wage for the next 4 years.
Well done Jack.

Tigers get Hopper for probably unders

Ah nice, Collingwood are Veggie Farmers like us too.

Tigers first pick this year is now pick 88 :joy:

Surely it’s a maximum contract figure per year. Based on base salary, games played, incentives and not a straight salary

Importantly, Tigs lose the Munkara pick.

Do you think that if they fined GCS and enforced draft sanctions (let’s say took pick 7 off them), that they would have found a way to give Geelong that pick 7. And would have found a way to give Geelong Bowes?

The result is so against everything that the rules around salary cap and draft are designed to do that it would have made significantly more sense for the AFL to ban the trade and just fine GCS.

They can live trade back in though with future picks

Can’t see the deal posted yet, but I’m assuming they gave up their f1?
If so, can’t trade anything else.

If they didn’t give up f1 I’m not sure how a trade got done.

Pretty sure they did with 31

Not with their future first gone, they can’t.

Hopper done. Grundy done…but Francis?

Absolutely.
Frampton has looked half decent playing as a loose defender but not much else

Taranto, Hopper, Graham & Bolton.

Good farking midfield.
