2023 into 2024 trade talk (Part 4)

Zurharr had his chance to come, he chose Clakkko

He’s 25.

Zuurhar is 26 next year.

Caddy will be a KPP and not a 3rd tall.

The biggest reason to not go for Zurhaar to avoid giving NM another top 5 pick which the AFL will totally do again

Cam Zuhaar is a pretty handy cook and has a bit of social media going on with it, I’m sure he would like the exposure that comes with playing for a bigger club.

If you can get Zurhaar as a free agent, you just take him. We’ll definitely have a crack.

I doubt he’ll leave North.

do we really need Zurharr positionally anymore???

I think it’s highly likely we get Zurhaar. Very handy player.

If we end up with a late first rounder (10+), think we will offer it up for Tarryn Thomas (OOC 2024). Addresses midfield need and class more than Zurharr. Plus Scott connection.

Conventional wisdom says 2 talls, 1-2 mid size and 2 smalls, optionally a resting ruck up forward. Conventional defenses are therefore designed to handle that sort of mix.

I wonder what sort of mischief you could create if you played a forward line with five of those 6’3” ish type blokes who all thrived in the contest. As long as they were quick and handy at ground level I reckon it would be very interesting.

You wouldn’t want to be a small defender having to pick one of those guys to play on.

The ball would exit our forward 50 with less resistance than a hot knife through butter.

Yeah Tarryn Thomas makes far more sense than Cam Zurhaar for us. Focusing purely on-field obviously.

Ah ide suggest his off field antics warrant a big no thanks. Last thing our young list, and club for that matter need is Thomas.

Edit: At times one makes an attempt at humour that is so offensive, that they are disgusted with themselves. This was one such moment. My apologies.

Ouch!

Zurhaar is an animal, you make room for players like this. We’ve been a ‘nice’ team for far too long. This is exactly the type of player we need to bring in

Scott didn’t make room for Voss.

Bonus is Zurhaar can actually play

SPP is another who isn’t necessarily a gun player in his own right, but makes Port a better team with him in it
