GOLD Coast goalkicker Mabior Chol shapes as a key forward trade option for clubs this year despite having two years to run on his deal at the Suns.

Chol joined the Suns from Richmond at the end of 2021 on a four-year deal as a free agent, kicking 44 goals from 22 games in his first year at the club.

Suns want Chol’s salary off books it seems, can we play him and Wright in same forwardline, plus Draper at times too. Would be interested if Bryan left if Bryan stays then either Bryan or Chol would be in VFL.

I was very keen on Chol before we got Weid.
I thought he’d be an excellent stopgap swing man while our younger KPP’s developed, but I’m not sure I’d want Weid and Chol in the same squad.

Given the preference I’d delist Weid, who I was never onboard with, and get Chol.

Port
In: BZT, Grundy
Out: future 1st

Melbourne
In: Shiel
Out: Grundy

Essendon
In: future 1st
Out: Shiel, BZT

So Shiel + BZT out for maybe pick 15-20 next year in return?

Could easily be photoshopped. Plus Hawthorn couldn’t swing both Esava and McKay. Seems like they’re deep into Esava.

But personally, I think they’re both valued as later second round picks, which equates to a late first rounder

Seems like they’re deep into Esava.

They can have him. He contests well, but doesn’t hold many of the marks he flies for. He strikes me as being quite an average player, but still a an upgrade on Spud Frost.
