2025 draft spec (Part 1)

Depends on how many needs you have.

We have needs in just about every position, so can probably go for best available as it will be an need anyway.

Coach should have told him to pull himself together.

Look even I do a couple of times a season

No-one is willy-nilly trading future picks this year.

Yep…that forwards/rucks combination is so powerful that we couldn’t possibly consider CDT.

I’d reckon a fair whack of that group won’t be in the AFL in 2027.

If we did have that pick (from GC) and the draft had panned out as shown, what other options would we have besides Oskar Taylor?

Barker, BOB, Greeves, Hibbins-Hargreaves, Wright, Le Ray are names I have seen put forward on here. It would be a bit disappointing to almost have Lindsay, Marsh and Phillipou last until our pick and just miss.

Who would those with a good knowledge of the draft pick for us in those circumstances?

No, no chance we get Duursma with 2. He’s perhaps insinuating we go for Robey with 2 instead of CDT.

If we’re looking at character as an attribute (and we should) we need to have a serious look at Sam Grlj. Showed great leadership in a lowly school side (Camberwell Grammar), is courageous, a fitness fanatic and will do whatever is asked of him.

Thanks for the info mate, that’s great to hear. If he’s a high character guy, I imagine he’s impressed clubs in his interviews.

Swap Cumming for Schubert and I’d be happy with that.

Let’s do Rosa’s job for him. Assuming Duursma, CDT, Robey and Taylor are gone, who are you drafting with 5 and 6?

  • Sharp and Cumming
  • Sharp and Dovaston
  • Cumming and Dovaston
  • Cumming and Grjl
  • Sharp and Grjl
  • Grjl and Dovaston
  • Sharp and Schubert
  • Cumming and Schubert
  • Another combination

Ruckmen are not the issue.

We have too many key forwards. If you’re picking another one with a first rounder, when we have so many glaring holes….. it is literally list incompetence.

You either ‘back-in’ the key forwards on your list…. Or you delist them.

I think we should back in the ones we got McMahon and May

Delist Edwards and off load Jones we pay for his contract for some one to take him off our hands.

Wright,Caddy,McMahon,May is plenty

Look @Finding_Nino is ■■■■■■ if we take another mcgrath again when there are 5 other players better than him. Then 5 other clubs crack a fat & blow their :sweat_droplets::sweat_droplets::sweat_droplets: because we took the guppy.

I thought I heard him also say we are the starting point of Sharps range. He’s an absolute no brainer IMO. Could be a transformative pick for the club if it eventuates in terms of need, leadership, professionalism.

Who the ■■■■ is Robert. Another bolter from the bush.

Nino the draft expert. Shut it all down. The Oracle had spoken

Why does anyone bother doing any form of reporting and investigating when we they can ask for your uninformed opinion

Cool. Trade 6, f2nd, 30 for pick 1.

Then we can get who we want!

Hear me out here, just for a moment

I say nothing because I don’t watch junior footy or follow the draft closely. I read and follow what our generous Blitz gurus share and continue scrolling.

I’ve had enough of drafting defenders in the top 10 :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:.
