One of us, one of us
I’ve liked what Emmett has brought today. Presenting strongly at the ball carrier and playing with a bit of presence.
Greeves came into it in the last quarter, foot skills looking pretty tidy and also like how threatening he looks in the marking contests when pushing forward. Seems to use his size better than Smilie did aerially.
I’ve gotta say/warn dons fans (as they love hating on players who can’t kick), but sweid and husses kicking is going to be an issue at AFL level unfortunately
Saints can’t lose to us. Ross knows he can’t compete with that level of utter ■■■■

Oh dear, i am more miserable now.
Sweid playing forward or mid?
He and Huss have kicked 5 straight between them.
Sweid mostly in the middle. Still looks the best of the two, but El Achkar just bobbed up with a really smart goal.
Gotta say Ollie Greeves looks to be the guy most likely to play round one 2026.
Thought that said Geeves.
I was about to post Ask Geeves if he will be playing.
Unfortunately Archie Ludowyke appears to have a pcl injury. Scans tomorrow
Him and Sharp are both very well built. I’m very intrigued to see where Greeves goes come draft day.
Make that 6 straight.
El Achkar!! I didn’t think he had the leg from 48m into the wind, but he smashed it.
I might revisit my earlier comment - Sweid’s kicking could be cleaner but Hussein El Achkar has a decent hoof on him.
Think my judgement might’ve been prejudiced by watching so many EFC small forwards who couldn’t kick over a jam tin.
7 straight.
Sweid reading the play perfectly for his 4th. Pretty exciting - god knows we need some positive news
Siren. Both boys very very good. Sweid the pick of them. We should be very excited about seeing these two boys running around with Kako next year. We’ll have some serious weaponry in the small forward department.
Didn’t watch any of it but Dovaston must be climbing up the order with 4 goals from 18 disposals, 4 marks, 5 tackles & 8 score involvements.
Love that Sweid & Huss combined for 7 goals. Sweid finished with 10 score involvements as well, most on the ground.
Did Sweid play predominately forward?
