Jack Pickett is looking like a boom tall forward prospect for the 2026 draft. Fresh off a Champs debut for Vic Country against the Allies he followed that up with a huge performance here against the Western Jets kicking 7 goals. He has some serious aerial prowess and has been a consistent source of goals for the Falcons since his Talent League debut.
Marsh has rocketed up draft boards over the last month and a half on the back of an extremely strong Champs campaign. Here we see him back playing SANFL U18s for West Adelaide and putting together a solid performance with his strong marking and penetrating left boot featuring strongly.
CDT was better than the pure stats suggest here with most of his touches leading to positive outcomes for Metro. Most rucks who have a strong follow up game tend to scrap at ground level and dish off to their more fleet footed midfielders, but CDT can turn the corner himself and burst out into space, more in the mould of a Luke Jackson. We also saw CDT take a couple of marks when resting forward and he chipped in with a goal which was a positive development. If he can prove that he can impact as a forward through the final stretch of the season that could be the difference between him being taken at pick 1 or sliding down into the back end of the top 10.
Of course, the Bombers have just recently signed Jake Stringer to a 6 year deal. Ever the master negotiator, List Boss Finding Nino was reported to have started discussions by saying “just give him what he wants”
