2025 draft spec

Dees have a pretty comfortable next few.

I would guess yes. I think getting O’Brien from WCE would have provided access to more intel, especially in the West.

Jack Pickett is looking like a boom tall forward prospect for the 2026 draft. Fresh off a Champs debut for Vic Country against the Allies he followed that up with a huge performance here against the Western Jets kicking 7 goals. He has some serious aerial prowess and has been a consistent source of goals for the Falcons since his Talent League debut.

Marsh has rocketed up draft boards over the last month and a half on the back of an extremely strong Champs campaign. Here we see him back playing SANFL U18s for West Adelaide and putting together a solid performance with his strong marking and penetrating left boot featuring strongly.

Rising up the draft ladder.

Already wearing a good looking jumper.

CDT was better than the pure stats suggest here with most of his touches leading to positive outcomes for Metro. Most rucks who have a strong follow up game tend to scrap at ground level and dish off to their more fleet footed midfielders, but CDT can turn the corner himself and burst out into space, more in the mould of a Luke Jackson. We also saw CDT take a couple of marks when resting forward and he chipped in with a goal which was a positive development. If he can prove that he can impact as a forward through the final stretch of the season that could be the difference between him being taken at pick 1 or sliding down into the back end of the top 10.

CDT and Sharp are clear 1 and 2 IMO.

Not sold on Duursma.

Watch WCE get pick 1 and 2 (compo for Allen leaving).

Im not drafting a ruckman with one of our pics dont care how athletic CDT is

Fortunately you have no input into our drafting choices

We dont need him we have Bryan,Vigo,Draper (if he stays) also Blaikson

We need a skilfull hbf that can break lines and another small forward

Also a mid/forward like Heeney

“With pick 26 Essendon have selected Anthony Munkara”

Well what do you reckon about that one Shifter?

“Essendon List Manager Finding Nino, who we see there with a big smirk on his face, is really banking on upside here with this pick”

“He somehow traded picks 5 & 6 for pick 26, in order to secure Munkara”

“There was some talk that he didn’t want picks 5 & 6 in what is a weak, compromised draft and was really keen on pick 26 instead”

“Refusing to rebuild, and potentially end up like North”

Of course, the Bombers have just recently signed Jake Stringer to a 6 year deal. Ever the master negotiator, List Boss Finding Nino was reported to have started discussions by saying “just give him what he wants”

Ruckmen take years to develop they wont peak till they are 25/26.

With our history of drafting talls they end up being injury plagued all thier career.

Drafting ruckmen or talls in the top 10 are a risk imo
