If I’ve done the bye adjustments correctly, I may have just squeezed past the top side by four points! ( Pending late adjustments).

I haven’t had a chance to do much with bye scores this weekend.
Will have a half hour later on tonight and aim to get the scores checked and out by tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks!!

Close game @saladin

I haven’t calculated the bye figures etc. what were the final results?

I had a quick bash at the scores, but haven’t had the chance to check if there’s any AFL Fantasy ■■■■■■■■■■■ or any errors by me.
I’ve got you on 1437 and AS on 1376.

I’ll check them later on tonight and either post close to midnight or tomorrow morning.

Dan Curtin has been a revelation. Gone from bog average to gun.

Feel like the team is coming together well for finals. Have had to sacrifice a little during the year but could be full strength and give the finals a shake.

My season has been pretty poor. Started well.
I screwed up my Bailey Humphrey trade with @Windy_Dill. I went through the trade thread and thought it looked odd. For some reason, I thought I was getting a pick back, but it matches exactly what was discussed.
Lucky for me Hough has turned out to be scoring better than Humphrey since then, so that’s been good. I’m still hopeful that Ginbey gets released from his defensive duties.

This past weekend was an odd one for me. I ended up having 4 players as an emergency which left me with 18 scorers. Luckily I have a lot of multi position players allows me to move players around pretty easily. I also managed to miss the sub vest as well (Bice got subbed out for memory).

All in all, my team is pretty underwhelming.
Schoenmaker hasn’t had a look in.
Ryan Byrnes has been shifted around quite a bit and lost form.
Mackenzie is out of favour at Hawthorn.
Horne-Francis is out injured.
Ugle-Hagan hasn’t gotten on the park.
I’ve picked up and dropped Noah Balta through the year to fill gaps.
You may as well add Matthew Johnson to that list who looks like he’ll be out.

Surprisingly, I’m more bullish about my backline than my forward line. Which is the opposite to previous list builds.
My midfield is bang average though. But, I’m not sure if it’s just the positional friendly differences that I haven’t quite caught up with yet.

Unfortunately, overall, I’m mid ladder. And I don’t think I’m any thread to any of the finalists. Which is a pretty crappy spot to be in.

I’ve checked and there’s no score adjustments from the last round of footy.
It looks like AFL Fantasy isn’t screwing around with the finals system and matching what we’re used to.

Good luck to all the finalists:
1 - Sunbury Seagulls (Split_Infinity) v 4 - topdonkeys (The_Melkman)
5 - Knights of Columbus (Crazy Bomber) v 8 - Pimpinio Tigers HDFL (wimmera1)
6 - RedandAllBlacks (Allblack) v 7 - Mildura Cruchas SFNL (The_Mad_Bomber1)
2 - Saracen 1 (Saladin) v 3 - Conargo Bulls (Redbull)

Now that FA’s and waivers are using AFL Fantasy rules, it seems it’s still a free for all to be able to grab players off FAs and waivers even though they aren’t playing. I’m not sure how much it’ll be used by those outside the finalists anyway. The number of transactions have slowed down the last few weeks. I gather most people have picked up and stashed whoever they want to gamble on for next season.

I’m also unsure how the waiver system works in the second week onwards of finals because we used reverse ladder of the end of year for each week of the finals and AFL Fantasy may choose to re-seed based on what happens each in the finals.

I’m rapt to be playing finals again.
I gave myself as much chance as anyone else would have given me at the start of the year, zero.
While it was obviously a massive outlier, hitting over 1500 this year was awesome.
It has come at a cost, and it will be a challenge to maintain next year, but I’m hopeful.

Best of luck to all the finalists.

Good luck to all the finalists. 9th for me, so a bit of a premiership hangover. Probably a blend of injuries and I was a bit lucky last season.

We are a bit of an injury / suspension plagued mess and have been for weeks. Can’t believe it’s been basically two years without an appearance from Coleman. It’s been a patchwork of middling players held up by a few outright gun players at both ends of the ground.

And how hasn’t Zac Johnson become a defender positionally!?

Good luck to Red , and all other finalists.

I feel like Champion Data forgot to do the last update of position changes.

I think as the season went on they lifted the games played requirement for a position change.

Fairly sure that for the last lot of changes in round 16, players had to have played 8 games to be eligible, which is why Johnson (and a bunch of other players) wouldn’t have been eligible.

Kind of makes a mockery that some players could get a new position after round 6 but not later in the season despite having played the same number of matches.

Personally, I don’t think there should be positional changes midseason ever at all. You get what you draft.

But given it doesn’t work like that, I don’t really care what happens.
