Didnât we had to travel like 5 times in the first 10 weeks i wouldnât say we had an easy start to the fixture last year
I say the second half of the season was the easier part we only had to travel once and that was the last round

Think it was 4 times in our first 10 but we also played the 3 bottom teams from the previous year in the first 10 rounds.

It was objectively a very difficult opening 9 rounds of the season.
We played 5 2024 finalists plus the 2023 reigning premier and another 2023 finalist in St Kilda as well as 4 interstate trips.

We did very well considing how tough the first 9 rounds were unfortanley we couldnt finsih the season off.

Opening round is terrible but someone has to play in it. We didnât play last year so whatâs the big deal in playing this year?
Half the comp has to play once on the Gold Coast or in Darwin. Why is it such a drag for us to have to play on the GC?
Why would we even expect any preferential treatment in any case given how bad we have been for 20 years? We get way more prime time than our performances deserve already.

I donât mind playing in round zero (although itâs a stupid concept). It means we effectively get 2 byes which could be good for niggly injuries. But then again our after bye record is not greatâŚ
