2025 Non Essendon Pre Season Games

Nah im with you would have Durham over Walsh any day

Off load Parish and snag Rowell our midield will be complete

I would. And I really rate Durham.

Walsh has been forgotten a little after the past few years. Can seriously play.

We’ll get in trouble talking about Essendon in here.

If we get Rowell, Hobbs may as well look for a new home.

Pretty impressive. A clear attempt to bring the thread back on topic diverted back to a debate about our recruiting from 8 years ago.

Better than chatting about the horrific display in Perth earlier today :man_shrugging:

Walsh is like Parish, good player but lacks hurt factor.

I’d take Durham as well.

Holmes on the other hand…

Thats Essington defending by Cats out the back for a Hawks goal

Not sure about 30 better midfielders than Walsh, but agree with your last statement. Durham has a couple of very valuable points over Walsh. Duzza is better than Walsh in the air, probably a bit quicker for pace and is a more dynamic package. Walsh at this stage delivers more consistently because he has been on a list for longer.

Sheesh what a goal be Oli Henry

Do Geelong ever play away from GMHBA in their preseason games

Yeah. Colac

I don’t think any opponent would complain about a pre-season game there, though.

It’s one of the few AFL level facilities which can be used for pre-season. Nicer change rooms, better upkeep on the ground etc.

Hope they renewed their passports

Watch Geelong kick straight and not miss against us

Watching this as well Nino. Nice skill from both sides generally, but must say There isn’t much pressure at all. the bombers around the ball were more intense. Be an interesting game against Geelong to see how the midfield gels.
