Date: Sunday March 1st @ 10.30
Venue: Gosches Paddock

General info:
4 x 20 min qtrs no time on.

2 blitz captains and the selection commitee (me) will divide the teams up evenly.

Anyone who has not played in the game before will be asked to grade themselves 1-3.

1 - Never played, Fitness “sub par”
2 - No footy but good Fitness
3 - Any sort of footy background

All players welcome regardless of age/gender, we have had plenty of kids and ladies front up in the past.

What to bring:
No boots, runners only
1 white shirt
1 coloured shirt

Donate anything you can to play

I am unfortunately going to have call that and say no.

Disappointingly ive got zero interest in this. Seems its ran its used by date.

Has there been any difference in interest between times of year? Iirc I’ve played in a few (either for us or Saintsational back pre-2010) that were November.
Other option is to look at playing a 20/20 or any other sport that doesn’t require 30+ to be viable.

We used to do 2, Nov and Feb.

I did think about trying in indoor footy game because even with that we could get away with 6 v 6 or something like that.

Something to think about.

Potentially before a Sunday game?
Could be an option to head to the pub to watch it afterwards.

I feel like in years gone by there were more Blitz catch ups. The esteemed @Koala even organised for me and Dylan (can’t remember his forum name!) to meet each other before going to the UFC in Sydney together!

I’ve been on blitz since 2016 and I’m yet to meet anyone face to face.

I play indoor footy atleast 3 time’s a week it is elite. Just won a grand final on sunday and also last night.
