Congrats Melky on the Premiership! You’ve assembled a great squad and will be up around the mark again next season. Commiserations to Wim. You’ve steadily built your team through astute trades and drafting and will be hard to beat again next season.
This has been the most even season that I can remember. Personally I like the 16 team format, so I’m not inclined to find another two coaches to return to an 18 season comp. Thanks to all coaches for their dedication to this comp.

Hooray! My first blitz premiership since I think the first or second season of the #2 league, where my side featured fantasy heavyweights such as Heath Scotland and Brent Stanton. Just shows you need a fair bit of luck that needs to go your way to win one.
Congrats on a great season @wimmera1 . Not to be in the GF but a great achievement nonetheless to make it to the last match. Hopefully we can have another finals head to head next season.
Also I’m biased but fully agree on the 16 team comp being better @Windy_Dill . I reflect on my side this year, which is comfortably the side with the best depth I’ve ever put together across the two comps and in that I picked up Nick Haynes off waivers early in the year, who put up 116 in the prelim and Harry Petty as a free agent in the last 6 weeks who averaged about 80 for the last 2 months and scored 120 in the GF. Even Ryan Byrnes again as a free agent after trade period who went at about 70 for the rest of the year is really solid cover that you just can’t find in an 18 team league and I think it gives another way to build your list aside from just the draft and trading.

Rapt for you. Truly.
I had a lot of luck to even get there, but even if I didn’t, even if I went out in the first week of finals this still would have been the best and most interesting season in twenty-something years.
I feel like all coaches have reason to be excited about their lists, and that’s a great position for the league to be in.
