Yep Hawks now get the easy side of the Draw with Swans in it, they don’t even have to play Cats or Scum which would be a bigger challange.
So, Hawks likely opponent in the Prelim to be the Crows.
Hawthorn will probably make the GF.

Only silver lining there is if they lose it vs the Lions, Merret would have made a difference and they can suck on that

Yer, I’d expect the Hawks to have the advantage.
Crows will still be dangerous as playing the extra game might be beneficial for them.
Obviously I’m forecasting a number of results, but I think they’ll just slide over the Dogs, then take Swans comfortably.
They may be a different proposition coming into a Prelim with some confidence.
