Surprised me how rapid he is.
His running and kicking style remind me a lot of Cyril and here’s hoping he is half as good as him.
Looks a bit podgy but hopefully he trims the puppy fat as the year goes on

I doubt very much he’ll play round 1. He only played 30% of game time, which shows where the coaches have him in the pecking order.

I reckon it’s got a bit to do with fitness as well. With his schooling last year and then a serious hammy, it’s pretty clear to see he is behind the eight ball fitness wise. He’ll need to build up his tank a bit more to run out games at AFL level. He has time and lucky we have plenty of options to rotate through there.

He’s still a fair way from making his debut - Like to see him spent time in the midfield in his VFL games.

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned, but after the game they showed mozzie doing sprints out on the ground with our runner. would have been a good 20mins maybe longer

He only played 30% of game time so that is not surprising
Dawks under valued him in the draft, they didn’t think he was worth the pick they needed to secure him. They will rue the day many times over for short selling him.

why would you not play him a bit longer then? doesn’t make much sense to me.
There are only so many minutes available for a squad of 26. He’s probably not in the round 1 plans so his minutes were a lower priority than others

The thought of Orazio, Walla and Mozzie in the forward half with McKenna, Saad and Redman at the other end makes my knees weak.
(And we haven’t even started churning out our own NGA kids yet.)
