As expected, he looked completely at sea as a defender. Why this couldnāt be trialled at VFL level is just horrific selection policy.

That is hardly a ringing endorsement. I have seen enough, by that l mean l havenāt seen enough possessions, desperation, skills, involvement, willingness, nor ability. Looks to play without a shred of confidence. Jones continuing on is a mark against Silly Solly. (Silly Solly is a chain of el cheapo stores here in Brissy, nothing over $5.)

i know people make fun of, or mocking point out that people behind the scenes pull the strings, and certain players are untouchables.
but jones is the epitome of the āessendonā good boy selection from behind the scenes.
There is no logical reason why he is getting a game, why he gets looked after so much, and as pointed out itās his 7th season at the club, and not once has looked a semi decent afl footballer.
Why does he continue to get a free ride with selection ?

It embarrassing. Not AFL standard.
I have a feeling he ends up retiring and getting paid out by mutual agreement. Popular at the club and this is his last run in the team.
Surely the AFL will investigate us for tanking because we continually play this guy.
Its the only reason i can imagine why he keeps getting games based on such poor form.
