YOU LIKE?
Indeed. Makes me sad Iām not gay.
Iād say that weight is more than 1 year old, just like his picture, probably more than 1. Would be closer to 100kg than 90 is my guess
Looks fine, hope he can stay on the park.
Transient hypertrophy.
Donāt get too excited.
Iāve always been in his fan club. Iāve never wavered. If the club can get him fit and conditioned, and heās 100% committed and professional, he will be a very good footballer. He just needs uninterrupted preseasons (fitness & conditioning) and play matches (development).
But thereās a bit of āifā in thatā¦
I just did that move in the mirror and swear I am bigger.
I do have a magic mirror donāt we all
Thereās one for everything
You are dreaming.
Nothing ātransientā about it. Straightforward, genuine hypertrophy, developed through many months of gym work including a significant amount of resistance training.
cultivating mass I see
Yep, I am on board with that. Probably would have saved me a couple of houses as well.
Not to mention the muppet at the club that farked his ankle getting him to deadlift heavy on a balance board, which he lost balance on (injury reported in March 2022) and then seemingly injured it again in May this year.
He obviously had time out with a stress fracture in the foot in 2021 as well.
Is this one of those things that people say happened, but likely is a fair way from the truth?
Nope its the truth.
I know someone that worked at the club and that was confirmed to me.
Jones was asked to lift weights while standing on a barbell plate and he rolled his ankle whilst doing that.
Raised (heel up on a plate) dead lifts are commonly done, RDLās known as which gives increased range of motion and increased hamstring activation
As are deficit dead lifts where you stand on the plate entirely so you are reaching lower to ground to pick up the weight. But you are standing in the middle of a plate on those
Could see maybe how he might have rolled it on a raised dead lift, but mustnāt have set himself that stable if so
